About Us

Most of you already know us :-) for everyone else;

On the one hand we are Jan, a passionate butcher and travel food lover, and on the other hand Bee, a nature lover and in love with the simple life of camping.

We've long been fascinated by North America. And for many years, we've nurtured the dream of exploring this continent someday! At the beginning of summer 2024, we decided that 2025 would be our year. Bee was desperate to buy an old school bus and convert it to suit our needs. But we quickly abandoned the project. It would have been too expensive and too time-consuming. After much deliberation, we spontaneously opted for a 1995 Chevrolet motorhome. It would have room for six people to sleep, has a stove and oven, a refrigerator and freezer, and they work perfectly. The total length with our hitch is about 8 meters, so it's still relatively easy to maneuver.

Enough space and comfort for the two of us and our dog, Jupiter. In the end, we had to make some modifications – unfortunately, not just cosmetic ones. The seller of the bamboo wasn't so kind to us and unfortunately ripped us off a bit. Two water damage incidents later, we still regularly find things that don't work as they should...

No matter, North America is waiting for us and we are taking you along on our big journey!
